Also, visit the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello.
The Murano Island: world-renowned for its glass production. Venetian glass is known for its high quality and exquisite craftsmanship. You can also go to a glass manufacturing factory to view the glass making process. Murano also has stunning Gothic architecture that is displayed in the Palazzo da Mula, Santa Maria e Donato's Cathedral and the eccentric Murano lighthouse that is made of Istrian stone.
Burano Island: famous for its colored houses and for the lace production
Torcello: it's part of the "tour of the islands" together with Murano and Burano. It doesn't have anything specific to offer, but it's a beautiful place full of art and history
